Billionaire Warren Buffett, chairman of the holding company Berkshire Hathaway, once again highlighted Apple’s achievements at the shareholders’ annual meeting. Portal reports 9to5Mac.

In 2020, Buffett called Apple “probably the best business in the world.” A few years later, his confidence in it grew even more. The billionaire told shareholders that Apple is “better than any company we currently own.”

At the same time, Buffett described the iPhone as an “extraordinary” product and expressed confidence that Americans would rather give up a second car in the family than an “apple” gadget.

“Apple is in a position where its customers pay about $1,500 for a phone. And those same people pay $35,000 for a second car. If they have to give up their second car or their iPhone, they will give up their second car… We are very, very happy to have a 5.6% stake in Apple and we are just as happy with every tenth that goes,” said the owner of Berkshire Hathaway.
