Google began to place ads mixed with messages under the guise of incoming letters to the Gmail mail service. In this respect informs Neowin portal.
Gmail started showing banner ads in your inbox. They imitate ordinary letters, but at the same time they are marked with a small “Advertisement” plate (translated from English – “Advertisement”). Ads appear on both computers and smartphones.
Some users noticed an increase in the number of ads in Gmail, which they began to complain about a lot on social networks.
@rohallma tweeted, “As someone who tries to keep their mail organized, I resent Gmail putting ads in my inbox.”
User @Marshallc6 tagged the Google page on Twitter, stating that such innovation should be declared illegal. He asked the company to rotate the ads to the top of the page so that they do not interfere with incoming emails.
Google has yet to comment on the situation.
