Developer Mundfish has announced that Atomic Heart is fully optimized for the Steam Deck portable console. A special trailer for this event was released on the official YouTube channel of the project.

While Atomic Heart and Steam Deck had a “Playable” compatibility rating at release, the game has now received a “Full Compatible” category. This means that the game will work on the console without additional settings – Valve, the company responsible for the release of Steam Deck, made sure of this.

Atomic Heart was released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on February 21, 2023. The first addition to the game is expected to be released this summer – the description of the DLC announcement states that “many unexplored places remain” in Enterprise 3826. It is known that four additions are planned for Atomic Heart, which will expand the game world and add new stories, characters, weapons and abilities.
