Some users of the beta version of WhatsApp Android 2.23.8.4 noticed the updated interface of the application, in which the navigation system was completely redesigned. Now the messenger on Android is more like the iOS version, informs WABetaInfo portal.
The source shared a screenshot of the WhatsApp homepage showing the updated interface of the app with a new navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. It is stated that such a solution will simplify the movement of users between tabs in the messenger.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp users on Android have been asking developers to update the design of the app for several years now. In particular, users wanted to see the same interface as WhatsApp on iOS on Android.
Currently, the innovation is available to some beta testers and will be expanded to include stable builds of WhatsApp in the near future.
