Following the departure of the Tinder app from Russia, users can switch to the domestic online dating service Mamba. This was announced to socialbites.ca by Mamba general manager Andrey Bronetsky.
“Mamba is registering 30,000 new users every day. With the departure of Tinder, this figure could increase: on the one hand, this is great news for us, on the other, we are aware of our responsibility to new users of the platform. Mamba does not make additional plans in connection with the departure of a competitor – we plan to stick to our strategy. Therefore, we plan to reposition the service in 2023: we will work more closely with users who violate the service’s rules and behave toxic, and we will also pay more attention to the lifestyle aspect,” said Bronetsky.
Match Group, which previously owned the popular online dating service Tinder, announced About exiting the Russian market by June 30, 2023.
“We are committed to protecting human rights. Our brands are taking steps to restrict access to their services in Russia and will complete their exit from the Russian market by June 30.”
Match Group also owns the dating apps Hinge and PlentyOfFish.
