WhatsApp Messenger for Windows has received update 2.2316.2.0 which, among other features, has the functionality to listen to voice messages outside of chats. Portal reports WABetaInfo.
The innovation is available to all users who have downloaded the current beta version of WhatsApp for Windows from the Microsoft Store. Now the user can open a voicemail and leave the conversation where it came from while doing other things at the same time. “This is very convenient and useful, especially if someone is listening to a very long voicemail – now they have the opportunity to continue communicating in other chats while listening,” the editors of WABetaInfo say.
Despite the fact that this feature first appeared in the beta version of the messenger, the portal does not exclude that the stable version of the application may become available to owners.
