In early 2023, developer Hikari no Yume created a tool called touchHLE that lets you emulate legacy iOS apps on computers. Now, based on this project, another enthusiast has developed an iOS emulator for Android, informs 9to5mac portal.
Developer ciciplusplus has ported the touchHLE emulator to Android so that users can run old iPhone games and apps on this platform. However, the project works with some limitations. The touchHLE emulator on Android has the same disadvantages as on computers – for example, applications work only on chips with the AArch64 architecture. Also, the emulator has only been tested with Super Monkey Ball.
To run this game or other applications, you will need to download the original installer of the program in “.IPA” format. At the same time, the emulator cannot fully emulate the operation of iOS. You can download touchHLE for Android from the developer’s GitHub page.
