Arcane Wonders has announced a strategy game based on the popular Call of Duty video game franchise. In this respect informs Polygon print.
The project was called Call of Duty: The Board Game. It will include maps, weapons, characters and other content from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in 2019. Arcane Wonders wants to recreate the video game experience with “new combat, movement, and line-of-sight mechanics.”
The developers have been developing Call of Duty: The Board Game for a long time. For example, the first version will only have a two-player mode, but over time, additions will be made that can increase the party to four players.
Arcane Wonders is currently raising money on Kickstarter to develop the game. The launch of the project for backers is scheduled for the end of 2023, while the novelty will appear on retail only in 2024.
