Players will not be able to play Diablo IV indefinitely – they will be waiting for the final boss at the end. Portal reports GamesRadar citing the words of Joe Pipiora, vice president of game development.
This means that the game will have an official ending that only the strongest level 100 heroes can reach.
“At level 100, we will have a culminating boss encounter that is extremely, extremely challenging. Players who reach level 100 will face a real challenge,” said Pipiora, without giving details about the boss himself.
At the same time, defeating the boss will not bring the player unique loot – it is assumed that the hero must be “pumped” as much as possible before meeting with the last opponents. The player will receive some cosmetic items and other rewards, the most important of which will be “satisfaction of victory”.
Diablo IV will be released on June 6 for PC, Xbox One, Series X/S, and PlayStation 4 and 5.
