In the first quarter of 2023, segmented laptop sales in Russia decreased by 20%. It was reported by the newspaper “Kommersant“.
At the same time, the decrease in revenue was 33% compared to the same period of the previous year. Brands most affected by the Russian market – Dell (down 75%), HP (74%), Asus (67%), Acer (62%) and Apple (34%), Holodilnik.ru reported. At the same time, Chinese laptop brands, on the contrary, grew in some cases more than 100%, for example, TundeRobot or Chuwi. As for desktop computers, the decrease in sales of parts in this segment was 6%, and in monetary terms – 31%. Most importantly, brands such as Lenovo, HP, as well as the Russian Warehouse “sunk”.
Citylink told Kommersant that in the first quarter of this year, the total computer and laptop market decreased by 30-35%.
