WhatsApp messenger will have a feature that allows you to save messages that “disappear after reading” by long pressing the message. Portal reports Border.

The innovation was announced by Mark Zuckerberg, head of Meta (known and banned in Russia as an extremist), which owns WhatsApp. If the recipient decides to keep the message, the sender receives a notification. In a pop-up window, the addressee will be able to choose whether to allow them to save or delete the message after the timer expires. As the company’s statement suggests, this will allow the sender to “veto” the receiver’s attempts to destroy the received message.

The feature to send “disappearing messages” on WhatsApp appeared at the end of 2020. The user can enable it in the settings of any chat.

Formerly socialbites.ca we talked about itThat the developers of the WhatsApp messenger have discontinued support for older versions of the Android mobile operating system in the latest beta version of the application for gadgets with the operating system from Google.
