“Actually, such an ATM is a structure that stores money and contains a QR code, and the interface and the customer path are displayed on the customer’s smartphone. This is our experiment, a technological research,” said Galkina.
According to him, Sberbank has already added to its ATMs the ability to use QR codes instead of cards, and this feature is in demand due to the fact that more and more customers refuse to carry “plastic” with them. However, the decision to mass-produce innovative ATMs will depend on test results and user feedback.
