Apple will showcase not only its first mixed reality headset but also new MacBook laptops at its WWDC 2023 developer conference in June 2023. It has been reported Bloomberg correspondent Mark Gürman on the weekly Power On mailing list.

We’re talking about the 15-inch MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro 13″, and the updated MacBook Air 13″. At the same time, Gürman noted that the new items are “unlikely” to receive real M3 chips.

“Instead, they won’t run on chips similar to M2 processors,” an insider said. At this point, it’s not entirely clear what Gurman had in mind, given that the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are already equipped with the M2. Apple is probably preparing a more powerful version of an already existing chip.

In addition, according to Gürman, the announcement of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14 and watchOS 10 update will also take place at WWDC.
