American company OpenAI will begin paying ChatGPT users up to $20,000 for detecting bugs and bugs in chatbot artificial intelligence systems. Agency reports Bloomberg.

“According to the bug bounty program, users will be able to report weaknesses, bugs or security issues when using OpenAI programs,” said a representative of the initiative.

It is stated that monetary rewards are calculated depending on the size of the errors detected, ranging from $200 for minor errors to $20,000 for extremely rare and serious violations.

OpenAI said the program will be run in partnership with Bugcrowd, a bug-finding platform.

At the end of March, the OpenAI initiative approved Leaking of personal data of ChatGPT users to the network. The developers said the leak was caused by a bug in the chatbot. At the same time, the authors of the program assured that the problem has since been resolved.
