Tatyana, a Moscow resident, lost about 250 thousand rubles, passing them on to scammers working as “representatives” of SpaceX and Tesla head Elon Musk. This was reported by Telegram channel Shot.

It was recorded that the Russian woman was working as a cleaner and while browsing the sites on the network, she got the information that “Musk distributed money to the poor”. According to Shot, the Russian woman went to a suspicious site and entered her mobile number.

As a result, as the operators changed, Tatyana more and more downloaded new applications for transferring money on her smartphone. Soon the woman was persuaded to take a loan of 198 thousand rubles instead of the transfer.

According to the channel, the girl’s brother warned her that Musk’s “representatives” are scammers. Currently, police are investigating that a Russian woman contacted the scammers through the “Money from Mask” website.
