A group of enthusiasts from around the world has announced the creation of a documentary film about the dog meme Doge or Douzh, the prototype of which is a Shiba Inu dog from Japan named Kabosu. It has been reported Benzinga.
It was noted that a group of filmmakers and members of the Dogecoin community, a cryptocurrency that appeared in honor of the popular meme in 2013, will be involved in the work on the project.
Pictures with the Doge are considered the favorite memes of the president of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk. Recently, Twitter replaced its logo with a picture of Doge.
According to preliminary data, the project has the support of producer Jim Toth, the director of the Pepe the Frog-inspired documentary Feels Good Man, Arthur Jones, and producer Evan Rosenfeld.
The authors hope that the film will reach a wide audience and be shown in theaters. The creative team is also trying to attract a major movie distributor from streaming giants like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video.
Musk in 2021 started udder dog. He posted the first photo of his new Shiba Inu puppy and named him Floki.
