Apple has abandoned its plans to release a 27-inch mini LED monitor. In this respect informs Macrumor’s portal citing insider Ross Young.
According to Yang, Apple will not release a 27-inch monitor for unknown reasons. At the same time, the company ordered matrices last year, which indicates the active development of the device. It was not specified whether Apple will release a 27-inch mini LED monitor or whether this project will be canceled altogether.
Earlier, Yang said that the monitor will support a mini-LED matrix and ProMotion technology, which provides an image refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This model was expected to be offered as a crossover between the Apple Studio Display and the more expensive Pro Display XDR.
Apple Studio Display was launched in March 2022 and the flagship Pro Display XDR monitor was launched in June 2019.
