PSA shows how citizens can be affected by the leaks of personal data they trust in VPN services. In one of the videos, a girl offers to show a supermarket seller a passport for the sale of energy drinks, but the cashier already knows the buyer’s name, date of birth and place of residence.
In another ad, the seller advises a man to visit porn sites less so his wife and children don’t know about it. In the third video, the bartender calculates the visitor and knows in advance all the details of his card, including the CVC code.
“Is personal data made public? VPN does not guarantee security,” says ROCIT. The agency is known to have started posting social advertising since February of this year. A total of eight videos can be found on the Internet about the dangers of VPNs.
