The American video company hosting YouTube has started massively disabling the AdSense monetization tool on Russian video bloggers’ videos. In this respect informs Rosetked portal.

The profiles of bloggers Pavel Abramov (Ne Sharyu channel, 117,000 subscribers), Denis Konovalov (Konoden channel, 87,000 subscribers) and others were subject to restrictions. Konovalov stated that he was aware of more than 50 cases of demonization against Russian bloggers.

Rozetked posted a screenshot explaining the demonization of YouTube in a note. In the letter, the video hosting administration writes that their AdSense profiles are blocked due to some sanctions.

“I just received a response from a team of experts who checked your account and confirmed it was blocked due to sanctions. If you are in a sanctioned area and would like to appeal your AdSense account suspension, please fill out a special form,” a member of the Google YouTube support team replied.

It was noted that YouTube turned off monetization of Russian bloggers from the views of Russian viewers in 2022. Since then, YouTubers have only been paid for views from foreign viewers, but now the platform has deprived bloggers of that income as well.
