“Even when [глава Apple] After Tim Cook handled the situation in Beijing, Apple executives worked hard to develop ties with other countries to reduce reliance on the Asian country.”
Apple’s diversification efforts became urgent amid escalating US-China trade tensions under the administration of former President Donald Trump and then intensified during the pandemic.

At the same time, Apple’s operations department managers instructed employees to focus on finding additional components for new products coming in 2024 and locating production lines outside of China.
