Samsung’s new flagships in the Galaxy S23 series lost an average of 43% in the US secondary market just two months after launch. More on that in my new report. reported analytics firm SellCell.
Among the base models, the 256 GB version fell the most. The new Galaxy S23 with maximum storage costs $860 in the US and is 44.1% cheaper on average in the secondary market. The price of the 512GB version of the Galaxy S23 Plus, which is slightly less (41.6%), has dropped. The 1TB top model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, experienced the biggest drop in price (52.7%).
For comparison, SellCell conveys the dynamics of the drop in prices for the iPhone 14 and Google Pixel 7. New iPhones lost an average of 32.3% in the first two months. Base iPhone 14 with 512GB at most (41.1%), least (with only 13.6%) – iPhone 14 Pro Max model with 128GB.
Smartphones Pixel 7 dropped an average of 45.9% in the first two months. The 512GB Pro version lost the most (50.3%) and the 128GB Pixel 7 Pro model lost the least (39.4%).
