Epic Games Store (EGS) started to buy the Fallout game, which was distributed free of charge on the platform at the end of 2022, from players from Russia and Belarus. It has been reported Telegram channel VGTimes.
It is known that some game owners who “buy” the game in the distribution receive a letter with a refund notice. Since the distribution is free, users are refunded “0 rubles” and then Fallout disappears from the library.
Some commentators of the broadcast confirmed that letters were taken from their account and the game was lost. We only talk about the first episode of the Fallout series, which was released in 1997, while the rest of the episodes are still available for the game. A day ago, it was learned that EGS also received Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and Kerbal Space Programs from Russia and Belarus. It is assumed that the problem may be due to the fact that the publishers of these games – Bethesda and Private Division respectively – have previously ceased their activities in the above countries due to the conflict in Ukraine.
