Mark Zuckerberg’s company Meta (known as extremist and banned in Russia) hired a DJ to work in one of the cafes in Menlo Park’s headquarters. Portal reports Information.
Over the past few months, the company’s management has been trying to force employees to return to the main office in California without working remotely, citing a study that found that growing engineers perform better when working “face-to-face” rather than working from home. In addition, Zuckerberg has repeatedly hinted that the company may switch to a hybrid mode of operation. In his last meeting with employees, he stated that Meta will “continue to support remote work” but will analyze the results of the study and may change its mind in the future.
One of the employees told The Information that a DJ had appeared at the company headquarters. According to him, this could be another step towards attracting people to the office. Meta’s headquarters in Menlo Park is known to offer its employees a wide range of benefits, including on-campus medical and dental care.
Meanwhile, a Meta spokesperson denied an employee’s statement that a cafe would be DJing after the portal went live.
Formerly socialbites.ca we talked about itthat a Meta employee criticized Mark Zuckerberg for expressing his distrust of the leader after the mass layoffs of his colleagues.
