Nvidia began to take drastic measures against fake video cards manufactured in China under the company’s brand. In this respect informs Tom’s Hardware Portal.

So Nvidia, together with China’s largest online stores, began to remove pages of unofficial products, including video cards of unknown brands 51RISC, Corn and MLLSE.

It is noted that these manufacturers have been working in the Chinese market for a long time, but now their products have started to appear on international platforms such as Amazon or Newegg. Video cards of such Chinese brands, as a rule, are cheaper than official models from well-known manufacturers. Most of these video accelerators are used or remanufactured. Some vendors even relabel memory chips or install mobile laptop graphics cards on desktop motherboards.

Now, Chinese online stores JD.com, Douyin, Pinduoduo and Tmall have banned the sale of used, refurbished and counterfeit GeForces of various generations. Nvidia, on the other hand, only recommends purchasing graphics cards from official partners such as Asus, Gigabyte, MSI.

Formerly socialbites.ca saidThe price of powerful Nvidia RTX 4090 graphics cards with 24 GB of memory has dropped to the recommended price.
