A screenshot has emerged showing the results of testing Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 8cx Gen4 processor over the network in the Geekbench test. In this respect informs Gizmochina version.
The codename of the Snapdragon 8cx Gen4 processor is Hamoa. It is known that Qualcomm is preparing it for use on computers and laptops, not smartphones.
In the web version of the Geekbench test, the new processor scored 613 points in single-core mode and 5241 points in multi-core mode. Gizmochina believes this result is worth competing with Apple’s M-series processors.
Thanks to the screenshot, it has also become clear that the Snapdragon 8cx Gen4 will receive 12 cores divided into two clusters of eight and four cores. The first cluster will run up to 3.4 GHz and the second up to 2.4 GHz.
Exactly when the Snapdragon 8cx Gen4 will hit the market is unknown. But rumor has it that this will only happen in 2024.
