Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will for the first time feature a customizable button similar to the Apple Watch Ultra smartwatch. It has been reported MacRumors with reference to sources.
“The action button will replace the classic volume mode switch that has been on every iPhone since 2007,” the source said.
It is noted that the new user-customizable button will provide quick access to various functions according to the smartphone owner’s preference.
According to the portal, “Action” possibilities include launching the camera, taking a screenshot or video recording of the screen, as well as a flashlight, recognizing music next to the smartphone and activating low power mode.
Most of these functions can be controlled by touching the back panel. This feature first appeared in the mobile operating system version of iOS 14.
At the same time, the “Action” button on the iPhone 15 Pro will also get a volume rocker, which will be performed with a single button instead of two separate buttons. Each of the buttons will be tactile and solid, meaning they won’t move when pressed.
Former Twitter user ShrimpApplePro released a new render iPhone 15 Pro, which clearly shows the touch buttons for volume control.
