According to him, the main focus of the developers was the autonomy of the connection between the battery and the drone, with the necessary means of communication or devices. “A Wi-Fi router connects to a wired drone and rises to a certain height, then freezes and ‘scatters’ the Wi-Fi. Because the drone is wired, it can be as high as necessary to get the job done,” added Guskov.
Currently, two possible options for lifting the apparatus are being tested – a sail lift or a scheme with a coaxial rotor, that is, rotation in opposite directions.
Guskov said the decision may concern the Ministry of Emergencies and other structures involved in the post-emergency situation. “The prototype is created on the basis of existing components, but taking into account the task of fully localizing production in Russia.”
