A well-known tech blogger who appears on social networks under the pseudonym Alvin, complained About the problems caused by the new beta version of WhatsApp on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones.
According to Blogger, after installing a new beta version of WhatsApp, the battery of Samsung’s flagship began to drain quickly and get very hot. The screenshots he posted showed that the smartphone’s battery dies in less than eight hours, periodically reaching 41 degrees Celsius.
“I’ve never seen a smartphone wear out so quickly before. I’ve never seen my Galaxy S23 Ultra reach this temperature, except when I ran the 3DMark Wild Life extreme stress test,” wrote Alvin.
According to him, this is because WhatsApp for some reason activates the Smart Suggest function on the smartphone, which puts a high load on the processor and, as a result, the battery of the smartphone.
Later, Alvin wrote that WhatsApp installed another beta version, after which the Galaxy S23 Ultra stopped heating and quickly discharged.
