Apple changed course in the development of the new operating system iOS 17. This was reported by a reporter. Bloomberg Mark Gurman on the weekly Power On newsletter.
Gürman previously claimed that iOS 17 would be a minor update compared to previous years, as Apple focused all its attention on the announcement of a mixed reality headset. Now, the reporter has announced that iOS 17 will bring a few new features that some users may consider “long-awaited”.
“While it may not have as clear improvements as the lock screen that was updated last year, the release of iOS 17 is expected to boast a few “nice” features. The purpose of the update, codenamed Şafak, is to add a few features that users have been waiting for for a long time,” Gürman said.
The announcement of iOS 17 could happen at the WWDC conference in June 2023.
