Xiaomi introduced its ultra-budget smartphones Redmi A2 and A2+ to the international market. In this respect informs GSMArena portal.
Redmi A2 and A2+ received a 6.52-inch display with HD+ resolution and an affordable MediaTek Helio G36 chip. Smartphones are equipped with 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.
An 8-megapixel main camera is placed on the back of the devices, complemented by an unknown sensor. On the front, a 5 megapixel selfie camera is used.
The 5000mAh battery supports charging at a modest 10W. The device is charged via the “old” Micro-USB connector.
The smartphones run a trimmed Android 12 GO Edition system for budget-friendly and non-productive devices.
The main difference between the Redmi A2 and A2+ is the presence of a fingerprint scanner in the latter. The cost of the new products has not yet been disclosed. It probably won’t exceed $100.
