Curious Evgeny Levitsky has posted a conceptual trailer for the fan-made remake of STALKER, created using Unreal Engine 5, on his YouTube channel. informs network broadcast Rozetked.

The released trailer shows a project based on Unreal Engine 5 with redesigned graphics, weapons, gameplay locations and anomalies. The original 2007 game was built on the X-Ray Engine.

In the comments to the video, users praise the project, noting the quality of the enthusiast’s work, which looks better than the STALKER 2 shown by GSC Game World.

It was also noted that Levitsky posted screenshots of the fan version of STALKER on the ArtStation portal.

Rozetked states that it is a fan project that will probably never be released, and that it is nothing more than a promotion of the engine and enthusiasts.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is also known to be developed on Unreal Engine 5. The project is expected to launch on PC and Xbox Series consoles in 2023, but exact dates have yet to be announced.
