DxOMark experts tested the battery and charging of the Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone, and ultimately placed promoted it to the 83rd position in the pivot table.
Introduced on February 1, 2023, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is the base model of the flagship series. It includes a 3900mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Among the shortcomings of the device, experts noted such factors as poor autonomy when listening to music and in standby mode with the screen turned off. Also, experts noted low autonomy when searching and using the camera. Additionally, they found that the battery indicator was faulty. For example, when the actual remaining charge was 15.6%, the smartphone displayed about 20% information.
DxOMark also took care of the slow charging of the device – with a small battery, the smartphone is fully charged in 1 hour 39 minutes. At the same time, Chinese competitors equipped with larger batteries can recharge in less than half an hour.
