Chinese startup Siweifushe has released a rubber mouth-shaped long-distance kissing device called the MUA. Agency reports Reuters.

“I already had a relationship back then, but I couldn’t meet my girlfriend because of the quarantine,” inventor Zhao Jianbo said of the reasons that prompted him to find the device.

It is stated that the MUA transmits kisses remotely and collects data using motion sensors built into the rubber lips. The data is transferred to the smartphone, processed by the application and sent to another person who can play it using the same device.

According to Jianbao, the name MUA comes from the sound of the air kiss. The device not only records the user’s touches and movements, but also plays sounds and even heats up for more realism. The cost of MUA in China is 260 yuan (2.9 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate).

Users of the device in the reviews leave conflicting opinions. While some stated that they loved the remote kissing experience, others felt that the device was an eerie spectacle of actual kisses.
