Supercell Studio, creator of popular mobile games Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, announced On his website about the complete cessation of support for his projects in Russia and Belarus in the spring of 2023.

The company’s decision to block Russian and Belarusian access to its games was a response to Russia’s ongoing special operation in Ukraine. In March 2022, Supercell removed its Russia and Belarus games from the App Store and Google Play. Since then, the studio’s projects are officially available only to users who have already downloaded them. Now the developers have decided to finally block the possibility of launching their games.

It is not known exactly when the access blocking will occur. It is stated that this will only happen in the “spring of 2023”. It is also unknown whether this will happen simultaneously or gradually for all games. It was not specified whether the studio will somehow reimburse the money spent by users in Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Star, Hay Day and other games.
