Google reported on the company’s official blog about opening access to Bard, the smart chatbot built into the search engine.
Initially, Bard will be available to users in a limited number of countries. The set of supported languages will also be limited. The list of regions of the first wave included only the USA and Great Britain, and there was only one language – English.
Google promised to expand the number of countries and supported languages over time. It is unknown if the Russians will be able to communicate with the Bard in Russian.
In its announcement, Google emphasized, among other things, that Bard is not a replacement for classical information search, but an addition to it.
“You can use Bard to increase your productivity, speed up your thinking, and increase your curiosity. You can ask Bard for advice on how to reach your goal this year, explain quantum physics in simple terms, or outline a new blog post,” says the Google post.
The company also wrote that they learned a lot during Bard’s testing and are now looking for feedback from multiple people to improve the product.
