Polish company CD Projekt RED reported On his website that he’s reworking the concept of a game codenamed Sirius, which is known to be related to the Witcher series.
Sirius is being developed by private studio The Molasses Flood. The team worked on the canceled concept for about a year and a half. During this time, CD Projekt RED spent PLN 42.9 million, or approximately $10 million, on the prototype.
The Poles decided to restart the project after evaluating the commercial potential of its early version. The company was not informed of what exactly did not fit.
Currently, very little is known about the Sirius project. In the original version, it was a story-based game focused on co-operative gameplay. At CD Projekt RED, the project was called “The Witcher”, designed for the widest possible audience.
Formerly socialbites.ca Wrote that the network has information about new games from the creators of Max Payne and Control. In particular, it has been learned that Alan Wake II is in the final stages of development and is set to be released in 2023.
