A Meta employee (known as an extremist and banned in Russia) criticized company president Mark Zuckerberg, expressing his distrust of the president after his colleagues were fired collectively. It has been reported business insider.

At the meeting, Zuckerberg responded to concerns about how employees can trust management’s decisions after two rounds of mass layoffs in the past six months.

“The way you will evaluate whether you trust me and whether you want to work in this company is whether we have been successful and whether we have met our goals,” the businessman said.

During the meeting, Zuckerberg assured that he understood the “stress” of employees due to layoffs. He pointed out that the company is making great efforts to inform employees about the outage process on Meta.

The billionaire also answered another employee’s question about how his outlook had changed since November 2022, when Zuckerberg thought it was possible to avoid repeated mass layoffs at the company.

“That’s a perfectly fair question. I think we’re not the only company going through several rounds of restructuring or the like. And I’m sure there will be a lot more cuts to companies in the long run,” he said.

In early March, in the near future, the American IT company Meta’s lay off 10 thousand more employees.
