American startup OpenAI has introduced a new version of the GPT language model used in the ChatGPT chatbot and the updated Bing search engine, among other things. Portal reports Border.
The new algorithm is called GPT-4. OpenAI claims the model has become “more creative and communicative” and is also “able to solve problems more accurately.” Unlike previous versions, you can upload not only text, but also images, although it only gives answers in text format.
The developer claims that GPT-4 is 40% more efficient than GPT-3.5. Meanwhile, OpenAI head Sam Altman said on Twitter that GPT-4 “is not perfect yet and has its limits”. So far, only paid ChatGPT Plus subscribers and testers can take advantage of fourth-generation AI.
