Finnish company Supercell has closed access to its mobile game Clash of Clans for players from Russia and Belarus. Based on user complaints informs VGTimes version.

Starting March 14, 2023, users of the iOS and Android versions of Clash of Clans started receiving a notification that they were unable to log in when they started the game. The game closes automatically when you close the notification window. After enabling the VPN, authorization from Russia and Belarus works without problems.

It reads the error text “Login failed. Your current location does not allow you to log in”.

The media suggest that the error is related to Supercell’s decision to permanently cease operating in the territories of the countries in question. This is demonstrated at least a year ago when the Finnish company removed its popular games Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars from the Russian and Belarusian versions of the Google Play and App Store. According to media reports, Brawl Stars from Russia and Belarus still open without errors.

Clash of Clans is an online competitive strategy game released in 2012. More than 6 million people play Clash of Clans every day.
