Mass production of PDAs with domestic operating system launched in Russia

Mass production of pocket personal computers (PDA) under the control of the domestic operating system “Aurora” began in Russia at the “Aquarius” production facilities. This was reported to socialbites.ca in the press service of the company.

Currently the Aquarius NS M11 PDA is produced in smartphone form and in the near future the Aquarius NS M12 device with IP68 protection will go into mass production for corporate use in the field.

Total production is expected to reach 2.5 million devices by the end of 2023. According to Pavel Eiges, Managing Director of the Open Mobile Platform company responsible for the development of Aurora OS, the start of mass production of domestic mobile devices with a pre-installed Russian operating system “marks a new stage in meeting the growing demand.
