STALKER 2’s developers blackmailed by a grumpy Ukrainian

The public administrator “Bulletin of the Same Stalker” on VKontakte, acting under the pseudonym Nick Frost, knowledgeableAccessing 30GB of data related to the game STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Nick Frost promises to publish the information received if the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World does not agree to add the Russian language to the game.

“We have a wealth of material on hand for STALKER 2, including a full-fledged story, cutscenes descriptions, various concept art, global maps, and much more. The volume was calculated in tens of gigabytes,” wrote the director of the Herald of “The Same Stalker” on the evening of March 11.

Nick Frost gave GSC Game World a three-point ultimatum. First, the attacker demands that the developers “reconsider their attitude towards players from Belarus and Russia”, and also apologize for their unworthy attitude towards them. Secondly, Nick Frost requests that the developers unblock his account on the official STALKER 2 Discord channel. Thirdly, the Ukrainian studio needs to add Russian localization to the game.

“There is no need to spoil the people’s game because of politics,” wrote the people’s ruler.

The attacker said that all material will be released if GSC Game World does not respond to its ultimatum by March 15.

Nick Frost has released several concept art and screenshots from the game as confirmation of the seriousness of his intentions. Especially in the leaked materials, you can see the location previously shown by GSC Game World in red.

The identity of the public “Same Follower’s Newsletter” admin has not been disclosed. However, when communicating with subscribers, Nick Frost said that he was “not Moscow and not Russian.” His profile page states that he lives in Yenakiyevo, a city in the Donetsk region.
