Popular tech blogger Marquez Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, showed The yellow iPhone 14 Plus, which it introduced on March 7, is in its new video.
According to the blogger, the smartphone turned out to have a pale yellow tint. Brownlee compared the iPhone 14 Plus to a yellow iPhone Xr, a New York subway pass, or even a banana that looks darker on a smartphone background.
“The only part of the smartphone that looks dark is the side edges, which are a little closer to gold,” MKBHD said.
The yellow iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are in all other respects no different from the other models in the series that were introduced in September 2022. Apple tends to release phones in new colors in the spring to boost sales in the middle of a device’s cycle.
The iPhone 14 Plus is Apple’s first licensed smartphone with a 6.7-inch display. Previously, only Pro versions were produced with such a diagonal, and iPhone mini models with a 5.4-inch screen were offered instead of Plus.
