To protect a website or service from DDoS attacks, hardware and software devices, reported Igor Bederov, an expert at the National Technology Initiative’s (NTI) SafeNet engineering center, in an interview with RT. According to him, such systems have the ability to analyze user requests and prevent hosting overload.

“If this security tool decides that the request is an attempted DDoS attack, it will not let the request through, thereby reducing the load on the service,” Bederov said.

The expert also reminded that the epidemic of encryption viruses in the form of RaaS continues all over the world. To guard against them, according to him, any downloadable content must be “tested in a sandbox that will analyze the effectiveness of a particular software or file within a protected circuit.”
