American company Relativity Space plans to launch the world’s first 3D-printed rocket into space. It has been reported twitter companies.

It is reported that 85% of the components of the Terran1 launch vehicle were created using 3D printing. The launch will take place on Wednesday from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

According to the company, the rocket is up to 30 meters long and is again powered by 3D-printed Aeon engines. Methane is used as fuel, and liquid oxygen is used as an oxidizing agent. The cost of one launch is estimated at about 12 million dollars.

Relativity Space added that 3D printing technology could significantly reduce the time and cost of making the rocket.
