Russian banks start implementing fast payment with Mir Pay

From March 1, 2023, Russian banks should start implementing the Mir Pay fast payment system in web services and Android applications. In this respect informs TASS.

The National Payment Card System (NSPK) told the agency that a number of banks launched the new Mir Pay service in December 2022.

“Large buyers such as VTB, PSB, Yukassa and others already support online payment using the service. Another part of the participants continues to gradually connect with partner merchants to accept this payment method.

The clearinghouse also announced that a technical bulletin will be distributed to credit, trade and service organizations, listing all the points of the procedure for connecting Mir Pay with online stores in the form of websites and mobile applications.

It is stated that the latest version of Mir Pay was released in December 2022. The quick payment function has appeared, which allows you to pay for purchases on websites and Android applications in one click without entering bank card details.
