Some users of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra encountered a network module that does not work when connecting to modern Wi-Fi 6 networks. informs Android Central portal.
According to victims, the smartphone shows the notification “Connected, no Internet access” when connected to Wi-Fi. It turns out that the first complaints about network functions appeared almost at the very beginning of the Galaxy S23 Ultra sales. One of the users contacted Samsung and had his device replaced under warranty, but again encountered the stated issue on a new smartphone.
It is stated that the malfunction is not common and only occurs among owners of Wi-Fi 6 routers using 802.11ax or WPA3 standards.
According to Android Central, the issue was partially resolved shortly after the February update, but it reoccurs periodically. The company is likely to fix this bug in future updates. So far the only way to fix the problem is to switch to pre-Wi-Fi 6 standards.
