Nokia unveils a self-healing smartphone

HMD has announced the Nokia G22 smartphone focused on sustainability and environmental friendliness. In this respect informs GSMArena portal.

The novelty is equipped with a 6.52-inch screen with a frequency of 90 Hz. The Nokia G22 is powered by a budget Unisoc T606 chip, 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of persistent memory.

On the back of the device, there is a triple camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro module and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera received a resolution of 8 megapixels.

The Nokia G22 comes preloaded with Android 12. The manufacturer promises 2 OS updates and 3 years of security patch support.

5050mAh battery supports 20W wired charging.

The main feature of the Nokia G22 is the possibility of self-repair. If necessary, smartphone owners can purchase the necessary part on the iFixit website and replace it with their own hands. For example, it takes about 5 minutes to replace the battery, and the screen – 20.

The Nokia G22 will go on sale in the UK on March 8 for £150 (about 13.6k rubles).
