“We got the CAD files of the device from the source. These drawings on which the renders are based are presented by Apple to its supply chain partners in preparation for the launch of the new iPhone.
According to them, such files are very accurate for the end device, both in size and design, because having faulty files can be costly when developing a gadget.
Illustrations of the iPhone 15 Plus clearly show the new USB-C port on the bottom of the device, which will replace Lightning for charging and data transfer.
The iPhone 15 Plus smartphone will also receive Dynamic Island, and in the fall of 2023 the “island” will no longer be a “cheat” only for the Pro series. The bezels on the iPhone 15 Plus are also thinner than those on the iPhone 14 Plus.
According to the drawings, the exact dimensions of the iPhone 15 Plus will be 160.87mm high and 77.76mm wide. The smartphone will be 7.81 mm thick. The size of the gadget is almost no different from its predecessor. However, the camera bump on the back of the iPhone 15 Plus will be thicker than the 2022 version.
