Version 9To5Mac published Illustrations of the iPhone 15 allegedly taken from official Apple CAD drawings by artist Jan Zelebo.

Thanks to the work of journalists and the artist, it turned out that the novelty, as rumors say, will receive a dynamic field of the Dynamic Island screen instead of the outdated rectangular cutout. As with the iPhone 14 Pro, where this innovation appeared, the Dynamic Island at the base of the iPhone 15 will hide the front camera and Face ID sensor array.

Additionally, the iPhone 15 will feature a 6.2-inch display, which is slightly larger than the 6.1-inch matrices previously received by the base iPhones. The screen resolution and refresh rate will most likely not change.

The creation also showed that, like the Pro models, the basic iPhone 15 series will receive a USB-C connector for charging the smartphone and connecting it to a PC. The new universal connector will replace Lightning, which is a lower standard than USB-C in both charging and data transfer speeds.

The basic iPhone will still have two cameras: the main module and the module with an ultra-wide-angle lens. It seems that the optical zoom module will continue to be a privilege of the Pro models. Judging by the renders, the previously rumored touch-sensitive volume and power buttons will also be a privilege of the Pro.
