YouTube channel creators Evan and Katelyn published video showing what they claim to be the world’s largest laptop, handcrafted by enthusiasts.
The basis of the craft was an Intel NUC 11 mini PC and a 43-inch Samsung M70B TV. The bloggers also made a special case using industrial hinges that prevent the display cover from falling in intermediate positions.
As a keyboard, enthusiasts used a non-standard Redragon K605 keyboard that weighs about 2.5 kilograms. According to him, authors Evan and Katelyn purchased a massive LTC trackpad 12.5cm high and 16cm wide.
To power the resulting system, the bloggers used two 150 Wh batteries. One is for the display, the second is for the PC and other components. Another battery with a much smaller capacity was installed to power the backlight.
The clip of the bloggers received close to 700 thousand views, 33 thousand likes and 2.5 thousand comments in a few days.
